What is Content Migration?

Content Migration is the function of exporting content data out of one structured or unstructured system and into another one. As part of the process, the content itself needs to be manipulated into a different format or appearance depending upon certain pre-defined rules. Beyond this, content metadata and internal links often need to be resolved, created or improved to enhance the data integrity and classification.
